Nancy W. Dahan
Well known for her assertive and effective representation in both Los Angeles and Orange County family law courts, Nancy W. Dahan has been an active family law attorney since becoming an attorney in 1988. Ms. Dahan first joined the Beverly Hills office of Ira M. Friedman, where she litigated complex family law cases in Los Angeles. In 1992, Ms. Dahan founded her own Los Angeles law firm, and in 2002 joined forces in Orange County with Kathleen A. Brown. Ms. Dahan's expertise in handling intricate custody disputes as well as complex business and financial aspects in divorce cases gives her the competitive edge in representing clients in Orange County family law courts.
Ms. Dahan is active in a number of professional organizations, including the Orange County Bar Association and sits on the Board of Directors of Human Options. Nancy Dahan was the 2003 recipient of Orange County's "Most Remarkable Women of Orange County" Award through the National Association of Women in Business Organization. She is also an active member of the Women in Leadership Organization. Ms. Dahan attends a monthly study group with prominent Orange County attorneys on matters complex issues of family law.
Kathleen A. Brown
Kathleen Brown is recognized as an aggressive and effective litigator in the Orange County family law arena. Each client's case is treated with exceptional care and attention.
Ms. Brown started her own practice in 1995, focusing her practice on family law until she joined forces with Nancy W. Dahan in 2000. Since then, Ms. Brown has been handling all aspects of divorce and family law matters as a partner in Brown and Dahan. She was recently published in Orange County Lawyer Magazine on family law issues, and became appointed Special Advocate of Orange County, while continuing her active family law practice. Ms. Brown has the ability to handle complicated financial issues in a dissolution proceeding, due to her expertise in accounting and business. Ms. Brown treats every client with respect and integrity.
Ms. Brown is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association, as well as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Orange County. She attends a monthly study group with prominent Orange County attorneys on matters of family law.
